The 2012 fifth anniversary edition featured 51 authors and the annual poetry contest
winners. We produced special poetry events over CATV and hosted six readings
followed by a reception. We celebrated our annual "Pub and Poetry Night" with beer and
cheese pairings at the Norwich Inn. We had great audiences, great readings and good
times.

The 2011 edition featured 41 authors along with our second annual poetry contest.
During 2011 Bloodroot produced a literary series over CATV, hosted eight readings
including a special "Pub and Poetry Night" at the Norwich Inn, and two special events in
collaboration with Valley Improv. We were applauded by overflow audiences. Each
reading was followed with a reception.

The 2010 edition features 50 authors from across the United States. During the 2010 season,
Bloodroot produced a televised literary series, gave seven readings including a special reading
at "Pub Night." Each event read to overflow audiences with gala receptions. In 2010 Bloodroot
held it's first annual poetry contest and we became certified by the U.S. Internal Revenue
Service as a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt corporation.

The 2009 issue of Bloodroot features work from 28 authors from across the United States. Four
readings took place during the year, most often to overflow audiences. The success of Bloodroot encouraged the editors to apply for tax-exempt
status, national distribution and to offer a contest for the 2010 issue.
